Terms of service.
1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using resi.works, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. If you’re using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian agree to these terms. resi.works is currently available in the United States and select international regions; we’ll let you know if regional restrictions apply to your account.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Household owners may invite up to 6 members per household. Owners can remove members at any time; removed members lose access to household data immediately.
4. Subscription & billing
resi.works offers two paid tiers: Essential ($6/mo or $60/yr) and Family Resilience ($12/mo or $120/yr). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. Pricing may change with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.
5. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial of any paid tier, with no credit card required to start. At the end of the trial, you may choose to subscribe, downgrade to a read-only export-only mode, or close the account. No charges occur without your explicit consent.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in two taps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain full access until then. We offer pro-rated refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled within 60 days of renewal.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to violate any law, infringe on anyone’s intellectual property, harass other users, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other households’ data. Don’t scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract data from our systems via automated means without explicit written permission.
8. Intellectual property
The resi.works name, logo, brand assets, and software are owned by Let’s Build Resilience. Your household data is owned by you; we have a limited license to process it to provide the service.
9. Warranties & disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that expiration date suggestions, FoodKeeper data, or any preparedness calculations are accurate for your specific food safety needs. Use common sense and consult appropriate authorities for food safety decisions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Let’s Build Resilience is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations of these terms, with notice when feasible. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.
13. Changes to terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll notify active users at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
